tortuga tunes studio

under development...

This studio is meant to provide Lake Oconee and the surrounding areas with an opportunity to record.  Tortuga tunes goal is to provide a quality service that the up and coming artist to the local professional will appreciate.

Initial set-up involves 13.3” Macbook and an Mbox 2 Mini with Pro Tools 8.0 LE for my studio set-up.  This is bare bones compared to what I want, but bare bones is what I can afford.  I currently have Roland DM-10 studio monitors and a set of sony headphones.  This is all very compact and the view is not bad.

The studio instruments are a little more exciting in my opinion.  I have put myself into debt several times to call myself the owner of these instruments.  Basses are my forte and I have three that get most of the attention.  My newest and most versatile bass is the 5 string Warwick Thumb Bass BO.  My other electric bass is is a 4 string American Fender J Bass and it does have an incredible tone and the looks to carry it (seen above).  My favorite and most played due to convenience is my Alvarez Acoustic Electric 4 string.  My guitar collection is anything but exciting, but they get the job done.  I have an acoustic electric Alvarez and Peavey Raptor (Telecaster clone).  I also have in my possession a Fender Stratocastor  that I’m holding for a friend.  There is more, but that is what is worth sharing.
